Popped bottle smell is sweet. First pour smell is pure ethanol the lingers into a sweeter aroma. First taste is mildly spicy and sweet, maybe a hint of maple? After taste is mild but pleasant. I really good sipping whiskey that has enough spice for flavor but it doesn't hit hard nor overwhelm. Its really enjoyed it.
