Bulleit Bourbon

Toffee, burnt caramel, with a big alcohol burn at the end. Slight floral notes throughout

Very drinkable but ultimately quite bland. Some spice, with nothing offensive to the pallet. Good for mixed drinks.

Vanilla and oak fairly prominent on the nose, with caramel playing second fiddle. Surprisingly peppery on the palate (maybe with some cinnamon?) - courtesy of the rye I presume, along with some sour and apple notes that transition into a medium-short semi-sweet finish. Bit of a bait n switch flavor-wise, but a staple for a reason.

My go-to for a relatively cheap bourbon. Smooth, bit of spice though.

This is our go to mixer we always try to keep on hand. Also will sip it on an occasional night.
