3 out of 5 because it is a solid price for a cask strength.
Color: Warm amber color. Legs take quite awhile to form, but when they eventually do they are large and very slow.
Nose: very unique smell. This one will burn your nose. It must be the malt I’m smelling. It isn’t familiar.
Taste: I get a caramel and warmth on the front. Some hug. It turns into that leather taste that isn’t my favorite bourbon note. Some spice towards the end.
Finish?: pretty long finish with some spice that lingers.
Water?: an ice ball helped tone down the leather. Maybe it is just the chill of it. Still primarily leather and a spice finish to me. Got better once it got watered down.
