Chivas Regal Extra 13 Oloroso Sherry Cask

Really smooth. Closer to a muted whiskey of some kind than a true scotch. The sherry finish leaves it with some subtle warmth.

I’m typically a bourbon drinker. I think this would be a nice introduction to scotch. Still has some smokiness, but has the lighter, fruitier elements that bourbon drinkers tend to enjoy. I don’t think this will blow you away, but it is pretty damn good.

Sweet sherry, fruit, caramel, some wood and mild smokiness, hint of spices

Tastes young. Light. Floral. Grainy. Dry.
