Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye

Spicy, oily flavor with a light taste of vanilla in the drink. Pleasant spice in the aftertaste that lingers on the tongue. The nose features sweet vanilla notes that forshadow the taste quite well. May be enjoyed straight or mixed.

Just starting to get into ryes. I enjoy this.

Sweet and oily/buttery. Once again, E.H. Taylor does NOT disappoint. 4.2.

Caramel and peppery rye spice on the nose Rich mouthfeel with a near perfect balance of maple sweetness and pepper/baking spice on the palate Long finish with oak and more pepper offset with a lingering hint of toasted marshmallow sweetness

Excellent finish. Enjoyed at Dwight and Deb’s house in South Carolina.
