Reviewed December 20, 2021 (edited June 18, 2022)Un étonnant whisky anglais qui est au niveau des bons écossais (je vais me faire taper sur les doigts). C'est franchement très bon même si je le trouve encore un peu jeune. -

Reviewed July 12, 2021I've had a couple of expressions from this distillery and enjoyed them immensely. Yes, the whisky is young, but so what, and these people do so many things so right. My bottle (bought Shinonoya, Tokyo July 2021) is another fantastic addition to the range. The peat is delicate and enhances all the usual Cotswolds traits - cereal, fruit, herbal notes - beautifully. It also is surprisingly smooth despite being 60.2% (120.4 proof).7500.0 JPY per Bottle -

Reviewed January 4, 2021 (edited February 19, 2024)Nice whiskey. Definitely well peated and earthy. A little herbal. If they had some salty air to add another dimension, this could have been up in my favourites. Solid whiskey. -

Reviewed May 6, 2020 (edited October 22, 2022)Seriously good. The fruity orchard flavors of their flagship single malt are richly amplified by the higher strength and beautifully seasoned by a light peat from the whisky that occupied the quarter casks previously. Despite the strength and the youthfulness, this goes down neat as smooth as honey. An outstanding achievement. -
