Dalmore 15 Year

Nice smooth easy drinking dram. I found the dried berries and cherry wood others have noted, along with light smoke and fine tobacco. Nice lingering finish.

So, so good! Rich, creamy and I get the dates and caramel notes. I tried it with the Mac 15 and I think I prefer the Macallan but they’re both so good.

Caramel, cola, orange rind, apricot, touch of smoke.

Leathery dark fruit on the nose, spicy fruits on the plate with a nice lingering finish. Nothing to complain about here.

Tried this at ritz carlton hotel bar philly. Nice, comparable to glenallachie 10 yr cask strength batch 5 but less rich in viscosity and perhaps less complex in flavor. Both drams are like dark fruit salads. Not too orange. Dates, plums, betties. Better than macallan 18 in flavor but this does lack in viscosity very thin mouthfeel and not a long finish
