Eagle Rare 10 Year Single Barrel

Excellent go to daily bourbon. Popularity has made it harder to find used to be able to pick up for $30 almost anywhere, good luck now. Spicy, smooth, light bite, earthy solid boutbon.

Really nice oak notes and a bit of vanilla and some tobacco … really great nose. On the taste this is coming off so nice. Sometimes I get a thin feel of ER, but this pour is really rich and follows the nose. Not a long finish but a bit of cherry. Eagle Rare can come off as one of the best pours of the night and sometimes just really thin. It’s so much variance pour to pour. This pour was really good and what I wish every ER would be.

Smooth sipper with caramel and toffee notes. Oak spiciness elevates on the back end with warmth/spice. Light fruit notes

-very smooth, on the sweeter end -not harsh, but not bland

Consistent flavor fruity with cinnamon
