Reviewed December 29, 2018Smooth, Intense, not sweet but has a bit of sweetness, just enough, dry but not too dry...just right...Cognac is there somewhere in the taste but not as overpowering as some of the other XO rums..If I had to complain about anything it would be that I wish it was just a little bit more Rich...a tad bit thicker as it feels really thin...a blend of up to 10-18 year old rums From Guatemala...distilled from Molasses then sent to France to mature in Cognac barrels for 6 months....Bottled in France but Aged for 99% of its life in Guatemala...Glass Bottle feels European, like a fine Cognac....I got a great deal at Total Wines and spirits in Westbury NY...on Sale 38.99$.....Everyday price 44.99$......I would not have been mad with this bottle if I payed 75-100$...It’s that good...Neat was excellent and with a cube of ice it went down way to fast...I was buzzed before I looked up to admire the bottle again44.99 USD per BottleTotal Wine Spirits & More
