Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon

I got this based on the reviews i saw. It did not disappoint. This was a nice sipper both neat and on the rocks. Really smooth with a honey candied orange peel note. I recommend this one.

5/5 for Frey Ranch on the sustainabilty element with how they are making their bourbon and rye. This drinks like an older craft distillery. Its a tasty product and i would buy it again. Their rye is better than their bourbon. I would love to try a barrel/cask strength product but they are a little pricy to buy a bottle just to try. Glad to see them getting more distribution too.

Solid pour. Sweet and smooth. Definitely a little young but overall a delicious bottle

Very nice. At first i thought it was a little too spicy but in the end it is just the right amount of heat. Tasting vanilla, cinnamon. It is pretty sweet. I really like it.

Solid. This is not quite as good or unique as the Frey Ranch Rye, but their bourbon is a great example of craft whiskey done right. Not sure the age on this — other than at least 4 years given no age statement on the bottle — but I wonder if more time spent aging would help bring a bit more to the table. Regardless, this stuff is definitely worth checking out; even if there are some better bourbons out there that are cheaper, these guys are doing things the right way and they are definitely on to something.
