The charred oak is what stands out to me with this one, along with mellow toffee, molasses, and vanilla. I'm new to Bourbon but this is one that I am going to return to.

One of those standards you drank in the 1970s, and can still safely order in any bar. Smooth and sweet corn, caramel, with oak vanilla and a bit of a spicy peppery rye bite. Quick ethanol flash and finish.
