Great Enjoyment, Smoothness, Buttery, Pecan Nut, Toffee, Apple, Slight Maple Syrup, Slight Hint Of Cinnamon TASTE/ Again All Sorts Of Goodness Going On! Buttery Butterscotch, Nuttiness, Sweetness, Nouget, Fruits, Biscotti, Oily Feel, Citrus, Malty, Slight Alcohol Bite At The Tip Of Your Tongue FINISH/ Smoothness All The Way Through, Oily Feel, Slight Alcohol, Warming MT GLASS/ Malty, Oak, Wood, Tobacco, Sweet, Lemon Citrus SIDENOTE - after having a pour of Old Grand Dad and moving to this fine beverage, one gets a heavy Smokiness upfront from this scotch 80 proof The kinetic feel when you first grab the bottle to pour your first enjoyable glass is remarkable! The bottle fits so well into either hand it is a wonderful fit for Left handed or Right hand pouring! There are flavors here that are typically present of an aged single malt scotch whiskey. However, this Elgin Classic is NAS yeilding equal flavors of a fine Aged SMSW! This me friends is me new go-to me new standard! I will be enjoying this for a long time to come neat with friends and family a like! Reviewed January 4, 2020Color: Light yellow. Smell: Smoky with a small note of fruityness Taste: Peaty but pretty weak taste. Very easy to drink. Aftertaste: Taste fades out pretty quickly and leaves a little burn at the end.
