when I first got into scotch I focused on single malts and any time I had blended it just tasted weird to me. Glenfiddich 12 was no exception. These days I don't care. Blended scotches seem fun and complex to me now. I love the 14 yr because it smells sweet like a good bourbon but goes down like a scotch, I decided to try the 12 again thinking maybe I'd get more out of it. The nose is great. I dig it. Very sweet smelling. The taste isn't so exciting but it's not bad. At this price though I'm still gonna have to go with Glenlivet 12.
