Green apple and freshly cut grass. A bit citron and honey. Not harsh and goes well with cashew nuts. Good as a daily drink.

An enticing nose. Apples, vanilla, honey, dry biscuit and cigarette ash. The arrival is creamy, with sweet ginger and chillis, and a dark fruit and baking spice development. There’s a really well developed spirit here, which could have been something really special without the chill filtration and basic presentation.

Smooth, not as strong, less burning, apples, honey, lemon, non-peaty.

Pale gold colour. Quite vivid and intensive taste with fruity tang. Honey on the nose. Balanced overall. Decent commercial single malt.
