Nose is full of the Sherry cask. Maybe a bit of smoke. Oranges. Wood. Something else I can't place, pear? Green grapes? Green olive? Maybe some brine?
Taste is a fast smoke kick and then a really nice spicy woody complexity. Very subtle bright fruit notes. But mostly the wood that evolves briefly and leaves a real nice woody linger on your tongue.
Lightly warm on the way down.

I really wanted to like this one. Sherry finish of a lovely bourbon whisky, what could go wrong? But there is something off with this, the sherry flavor is not strong enough, it’s very dry and not even sweet. The flavor is also quite dry, and not as delicious tasting as other glenmorangie that I had. I will give it a try again later.
