Glenmorangie Malaga Cask Finish 12 Year

- Nose // cream soda, cake, vanilla, berry/dark fruit, raisins/dates, wheat, nutty, oaky, honey, after it opens hints of tea maybe? - Palate // creamy/oily feel, cake/cookies, vanilla, butterscotch, fruit - dates, some nuttiness, maybe a hint of chocolate after it opens a bit - Finish // dates, slight citrus, oaky/nutty Definitely a sweet after dinner treat - although I would enjoy this anytime! Quaffable. Delightful.

Nose: red wine, sherry, malty cereal, hint of nuttiness Body: light to medium Palate: very understated, sweet hint of red berries, sherry and Malty a toned down version of the nose. A little prickly peppery, maybe the age but not offensive. Finish: shorty Note: this is good not great.

It has the boldness of a Kenton brass section but the sweetness of a tenor saxophone solo to balance it out. Well balanced.
