Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or Sauternes Cask Finish

Decent but spicy taste overwhelms the sweet and floral notes

This is my favorite Glenmorangie I've had to date. The cask finish rounds this out perfectly. I genuinely would change nothing about it. Sweet honey, barrel tannins, and a slight hint of citrus. Incredible.

Honestly. I expected more from this one. The nose is to sweet and bright, I was definitely surprised by the saltier notes on the tounge. It’s a perfectly fine dram but I think there are more compelling options on my shelf at this price point.
