Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or Sauternes Cask Finish

Nothing particularly stands out to me. Might be because I'm tasting their 14 year at the same time which is outstanding

Most expensive of the four iterations in the “Tasting Set”, but IMHO the worst of the lot. Very glad I was able to try this one from a 100 ml “taster”. As expected, it is sweet, but it’s almost an artificial sweetener sweetness. The sweetness is the first thing you taste, dut is quickly replaced with alcohol heat and a dry finish.

Starts off a little sharp but quite nice, sweet finish. Very good!

Aroma of plum with slight honey and vanilla. Flavors: Sweet water, spicy citrus, and pear. Definitely pear. But is there a tag for pear? NOPE! And we can't add it :-( Ratings based on neat sipping.
