Took me awhile to attribute the sweetness and spice to orange peel and ginger. Once that takes place this liquid makes sense. Then the palate can explore flavours of honey, bananas, dark fruits and other spices.

When you think of the typical Highland single malt, this is it. Sweetness, vanilla, orange zest, vanilla, little oak wood, everything’s there! For a 10 years old, it’s a good one!

Really easily drinkable and one of the whiskies that constantly keeps reappearing in the bottle cabinet
