I wouldn't say this is my favorite but it's certainly an interesting flavor, largely due to the port casks. Somewhat reminiscent of Macallan 12yr. Maple syrup, wet leather and dried apples on the nose, candied almonds, baking spices and wet wood on the palate. Altogether a very pleasant dram but it's very heavy. I think it would be a good sipper with a really seriously toned book.
