High West A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 8 (All Scenes)

Very nice whiskey. On the nose & neat, Hints of fruits with smooth spice finish. When cut with water, the flavor profile opens up beautifully and spice reduced to a minimum leaving you with a very pleasant finish. Definitely one for the collection. Highly recommend.

Sweet start, just a little spice. Good mouth feel. Very nice, sweeter finish. Excellent rye.

Smells of port. Dry, oak, and light spiciness. Mild sweet finish.

Sweet like a port (makes sense) with just a hint of sharp rye. Great with ice

Perfectly balanced between rye spice and dark fruits. Not easy drinking unless you add water or ice but do not do that. Balance disappears and you just get smooth sweetness. The point of this whiskey is the rye spice playing off of the port sweetness. I couldn’t ask for more in this whiskey. For what it is trying to do it hits perfection.
