Highland Park 12 Year

Quite enjoyable. A very well rounded drink. It's good neat, with ice, a drop or 2 of water, or whiskey stones. Not mind blowing but very good and pretty smooth. I'm not going to sit here and say it has bunch of different flavors that may or may not be there, it just tastes like a good scotch with a touch of smoke. Also pairs well with a nice cigar. I would happily get this again some day. Incidentally, this was the very first scotch I ever tried and I enjoyed it enough to keep trying others. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I actually like it now that I have a better idea of what I like

Those tasting notes (sweet vanilla honey, grass and a little fruitiness and lemon, then peat and a waft of smoke) are bang on.

Nose: Light peat, honey, butterschotch, caramel. Pallet: No burn, light. Bit of sweetness, light smoke. Finish, medium, nice sipper. Nothing is standing out, but in general OK.
