I didn't try them side by side but they are close enough to say this is either a great value or the 18 year is way overpriced. Very smooth, good amount of smoke, a top notch representation of a Highlands scotch. -

Reviewed October 24, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Floral and wood on the the nose. Honey and fruit on the taste with a bit of peat. Leaves you with a warm and sweet finish.
