I.W. Harper 15 Year Bourbon

I like big bold spicy in your face bourbons. This isn't that. What this is in my opinion is a smooth flavorful bourbon with notes of vanilla, praline that bring other flavors together perfectly.I was surprised how much I enjoyed this smooth criminal.

Nose is the best part of this bourbon. Vanilla with oak. The palate is somewhat flat to me. Oak and dark chocolate with a very thin mouthfeel. Finishes with a slow burn.

Not bad at all, fruitier to the nose than my tastes prefer, and pretty spicy on the finish.
