J. Henry & Sons 5 Year Patton Road Reserve

Nose is mild. Punchy, in-your-face bourbon you’d expect from a barrel proof. Mid palate is Maraschino cherries and almond. Finishes somewhat nutty, again almond or almost peanut. I’m a fan.

Good product but for the money there are better things out there

The cask strength version is outstanding, A very different flavor experience but superb quality and balance. Jeff Schwartz's review is on target.
