Reviewed September 22, 2022 (edited September 28, 2022)Batch 89 Baking spices, vanilla, oak, with a pinch of sherry and smoke. Fan of their attempt to add complexity to a one dimensional bourbon. If I was a fan of corn, I’d rate it higher and appreciate the unique finishes, but the core of this is simplistic bourbon flavors. -

Reviewed September 19, 2022 (edited November 27, 2022)If I could pick one bourbon to have tonight, it would be this. High proof, but smooth. Literally tastes like a cigar, but sweet with a long finish. Comparable is saints alley Armagnac finish, but cigar blend blows it away -

Reviewed July 1, 2022 (edited August 29, 2023)Batch 74: sweet leather and dark cherry nose, palate packs punch and disapates into tons of flavor, sweet baking spices, cigar, molasses, oak. Very long lingering finish (4.25) Batch 79: nose is every type of cake I can think of! Very complex palate, delicous (4.5) Batch 87: most of the same notes as 74, but a little more Armagnac influence on this bottle (4.75) Batch 188: does not compare ro other batches, still solid but little harsher (4/5) -

Reviewed June 19, 2022 (edited November 30, 2022)It’s pretty good. Drinks a little hotter/spicy than it’s proof though. I thought it was closer to 120.
