Kentucky Owl Confiscated Bourbon

Bananas at first whiff. Then bubble gum in the second. Finish kind of short with cinnamon/spice with a young burn which given the price you’d expect a smoother and longer finish. Overall not bad but not worth >100$ per bottle in my opinion.

Banana and vanilla on the nose. Spicy on the mid palate with Star Anise and Cinnamon. It drinks a little hotter than the proof drinks like a higher rye bourbon. Maybe not great for the price but most of us have had over-priced whiskeys. I think it is very good

Spicy, short-medium finish. Lacks complexity. No age stated but seems young 3-4 years, which is surprising at $125 price point
