Kilchoman Sanaig (2016 Edition)

Simple smoke on the nose with an undertone of brine. Taste is a mix of peat, dark chocolate, and dark fruits with a warm, slightly cinnamon finish

The nose is first and foremost smokey, with just a slight hint of underlying brine. The palette starts out a bit syrupy before quickly transitioning to more smoke with a bit of caramel. The finish adds a touch of spiciness while the smoke lingers.

N: smoke out the bottle smacks you. Herbal notes classic of Islay,, citrus? P: the brine is straight though the middle of a rounded mouth filling smoke, herbaceous and bright. Pepper, darkest chocolate. F: earthy, plays on the tongue with pepper and warmth. Distiller whisky taste #14
