I think I need to try this next to Booker's Granny's Batch. I'm thinking they are close. Roasted Peanut heaven with nice spice notes. Moment of Maple a touch of vanilla below the spice. Chocolate notes as well. Several drops of water are mandatory for this one. Really opens everything up. Really a wonderful expression of Knob Creek.

Nose: Hazelnut, vanilla, and Carmel. Smells like classic knob creek with a little more refinement.
Taste: vanilla and syrup, transforming into spice especially pepper and cinnamon. Light clove
Finish: Tobacco, peanut, rye, and oak. Classic Jim Beam on the finish. Well done.

Hazelnut, pecan, almonds and almost amaretto on the nose. Wonderful mouthfeel with a smooth finish that keeps going. More of a nutty flavor than vanilla initially but vanilla alongside the spices on the finish.
This makes me want to go back for a second bottle ASAP.
