Knob Creek Smoked Maple

Lots of maple. I really like it but feel like I’d like it more if it had more whisky and less maple. Would be a possible home run with a little smokiness as well. Slightly over a hint of maple would be great. Still, this is enjoyable for what it is. Easy drinking. Very very smooth.

This bourbon is very pleasant to drink old fashion, on ice, or even mixed with a splash of root beer or Dr Pepper. There is an initial taste of caramel that transforms into a subtle yet sweet maple note. Very smooth body and easy drink.

More maple than I expected and smoke is minimal. Could have been great. Interesting as a mixer, though.
