Reviewed October 12, 2021 (edited April 5, 2022)Nose vanilla beans and rich deep chocolate are front. Not getting any peat but I just had a pretty peaty whiskey before. Taste - apple skins surprised me with gentle nuts and an gentle oily mouth. It fades into a gentle burn with some spices. Finish - spices and heat on the tongue with some vanilla and caramel smoothing it out. Very faint whisps of peat or smoke with some sea salt. -

Reviewed August 27, 2021Hits the Japanese whiskey notes I like- vanilla, plum, oak, with some smokiness in the finish. Really balanced
