Nose: Medicinal and mouthwatering all at once. Slightly sweet like some kind of shampoo with rosehips.
Taste: Heavy. Cloying. Like placing your tongue on a washcloth, but in a good way. That's upfront. In the backend there is soil and a delicious earthiness to this. Awesome peaty follow through. Only a tiny bit of good burn.
Note: The legs of Laphroaig are thick and slow moving. The taste lingers and it's lovely. This is why I'm glad I became a Scotch drinker.
