My first and only Cachaca to date. Incredibly funky, like old socks. Totally fine in a mix, but drinking this straight is a rather unpleasant experience...

"Grassy" is certainly the operative word here. Sugary, vanilla, syrupy, leafy, herbal, tangy, and with a huge white grape character--but grassy is the dominant note. No one in their right mind would sip this neat, but it really does make for a superb caiparinha.

Very mild grassy flavor. I'll bet this would make an amazing cocktail. My first cachaca.
