Kentucky bourbon - Japanese Blender.
NOSE: egg rolls and French fries.
PALATE: mouthfeel thick like egg fu young gravy. Hint of boiled (not grilled) hot dogs. Is that chop suey popping up?
FINISH: medium. Almond and fortune cookies. Ding Dongs.
All kidding aside. It’s spicy and sweet (not sweet and sour!). It’s very good. I would keep it neat.
Nose: Slight alcoholic nose that is overpowering. Hints of apricot and vanilla
Palate: Wave of sweetness and fruit. However cinnamon and spice kicks in shortly after. Complex oak and nut flavors are also present
Finish: Slightly oily and rough in texture. Wood flavors remain
Very smooth and sweet. Quality stuff and a good solid intro to bourbon if you're used to Suntory Japanese blends. If you like both, this is exactly what you expect from a good middle point between the two.
