Legent Bourbon

Very precise and clean

Vanilla, smooth, caramel

Dark Amber color. Nose is mild - some port and cherry. Texture is light, not oily. Earthy spice to start, lingers, and then finishes with caramelized fruit.

Nutty nose, rich and sweet with a pepper finish. The red wine and sherry finishing are fantastic. I think I would really enjoy an older version of this.

Bourbon advent calendar 2020, day 16. I do not like this at all… Bitter, spicy are the dominant flavors. people mentioning vanilla or caramel… I wonder where the heck they are finding those notes. :-) Drinks hotter than 94 proof, apparently I am not a fan of finishes involving Sherrie or wine casks. Adding water brings out the worst in it. Approaching “drain pour“ status.
