Reviewed December 2, 2022Wow, that’s pear up front! Peat and aldehydes up front, but real fast fade to… maybe pear? Winey tastes as well, but not like an “aged in sherry casks” winey. Some salt too; rather sweet! -

Reviewed December 2, 2022Evokes: a London townhouse with sooty bricks and a hot cup of black coffee in a thermos you didn’t rinse quite enough. A comforting scent of sweet smoke with a slightly sour, soapy, taste at the front. A sweet finish. -

Reviewed November 7, 2022 (edited December 2, 2022)Really enjoying this 2nd entry to the 2022 peaty whiskey advent calendar. Nose and palette have a chocolate-mint sweetness that I haven’t encountered before. This is nicely balanced on the palette with peppery peat and oak.
