Loch Lomond Original

Light smoke aroma, watery taste with light peat/woodiness.

Sweet pear, grape, oak, burnt peanut, a little bitter, grass, orange, lemon, salted caramel. Not very oily, taste does not linger long.

Quite a decent pour. Nose smells like Irish whiskeys, floral and oaky. Taste was slightly smoky with some slight note of peat. After taste is short but with very flowery floral taste. Overall quite a good whisky.

You can really taste the peat - which makes it outstanding for homemade pasta sauce, but just okay for drinking.
