Macallan The Harmony Collection Rich Cacao

Nice nose, the palate brings stewed fruits and raisins. The finish though, woody, tannic, and young spirity finish. Unpleasant. Doesn’t really improve with water. Definitely some young whisky or old worn casks. I wouldn’t purchase again. $150 usd.

Rich cocoa and dark chocolate on the palate, with heavy aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate on the nose. Very pleasant dessert pour.

You can definitely taste the cacao instantly! On the nose is sherry, floral notes, almost a hint of moss, ripe apple, and definitely the cacao. On the palate it cream, honey, and cacao, definitely sweet but not fruity. The finish lingers, there’s certainly an oily quality to it.
