Martini & Rossi Fiero

Im a man of whisky and sometimes rum/vodka, as long as it's bitter,, so when I tried this, having the pre-judgment of martini being sweet, I thought I would hate it, and sipping it, it really starts with a fruity sweet kick, but the finish...the bitterness is something else, it gets the drink to another level. If you add tonic water, ice and some lemon slices (not zests), you have yourself the perfect river/beach drink, without having too much alcohol. Try it

Pretty sweet and pretty bitter at the same time. I do get orange peels but it's very juicy, too. Herbal aftertaste, could go down well with lamb. Also reminds me of cloves.
