Reviewed October 23, 2020 (edited December 11, 2021)Smell- banana candy First sip, sweet, caramel, bananas foster Second sip, hit with a wham of smokiness and chestnut, that disappeared quickly (and that smoky hit didn't return on subsequent sips) 3rd sips onward- sweet and smooth with a great mouthfeel and a woody finish. Overall I really enjoy this. Not sure it's quite worth the price point ($74 in Pa), but I would definitely drink again Edit: adding subsequent tastes 2 months later. This is seriously a damn fine pour. I have enjoyed this more each time I taste it. It is smooth, oily and rich. All if the finishing adds a lot of character that improves over time. -

Reviewed October 4, 2020 (edited February 3, 2021)One of the smoothest single pot still whiskey’s I’ve ever had. The nose is strawberry twizzlers but the tasting notes are milk chocolate and vanilla and cinnamon spice with a touch of oak. Delicious! -

Reviewed September 18, 2020 (edited March 15, 2021)Middleton's notes are so spot on, and this whiskey is so complex, I'm not gonna sully this review by trying to explain it myself. On the nose there is red licorice, fresh rosemary and mint, and ginger root. The taste is sweet fruit and spice, cinnamon toast, and ripe bananas. This finishes with green tea, some more fruit and spice, and a nice woody finish that is the smoothest of the Method & Madness line in my opinion.75.0 USD per BottleFine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection
