Michter's US*1 American Whiskey

I love the rich creamy first taste but not the backend. When I first opened the bottle I got a very bitter after taste from it. Now a few weeks later it has changed to a cherry cough syrup taste.

Slight fruity notes, cherry. Vanilla is there just past the initial fruit but definitely caremel. Great bourbon, very smooth

An interesting sipper, makes a nice old fashioned. The corn is there, but in a good way. It has a long mouth coating where the vanilla/toffee really comes through. A few drops of water really let the finish play.
