Mortlach 12 Year "The Wee Witchie"

The nose is incredibly floral, bursting with honey and all kinds of tropical fruits, yet still with a sense of richness. The taste is honey and citrus with a hint of caramel toffee, but the finish is very short. Almost nothing in fact, with the only mouth feel staying towards the front of the palate. An enjoyable if unmemorable dram.

Nice fruity nose (apple) and spicier, creamy taste (apples, nutmeg)

A very nice, smooth Speyside with clear Sherry influence. Sweet Apple pie and molasses in the nose. Body's smooth and rich, with a subtle spicy finish. Didn't get the meaty notes that are in a lot of reviews (but I'm also a vegetarian, so....). I like this bottle and would get it again, but it wasn't quite distinctive enough to be a favorite.

Apple notes on the nose, palate is strong cherry, banana, raisin and licorice. Finishes with a hint of brown sugar and more raisin.
