My palate's been off, but it's nose is more briny than smokey. Though the oil and funky cheese of Octomore is still all over the place. Taste is more fruity than expected, with the dominant note being grilled pineapple core after some time spent in the glass.

Sweet peat. Well balanced, pour was delish.

Pretty good, for the ABV especially. It’s light and peaty but not particularly smoky, and a slight floral aftertaste that lingers. I can tell this is a quality whiskey just not my personal style

For the level of smoke up front, there's a huge bouquet of bright fruit/vanilla/spice on the back end
