Solid but cheap

Very young tasting. Corn comes through. No depth. Shouldn’t be a $20 something bottle

Vanilla and caramel with notes of fruit and spice on the nose. It has a complexity and richness that I assume comes from the use of the pot still. Palate: dark fruit with vanilla and caramel. Nutmeg and cinnamon with a hint of black pepper. Creamy and rich with a medium finish. Willett has yet to disappoint me. I would take this over many bottles at 2-3x the price

Sweet caramel. Candied fruit and a little spice. Mild-moderate burn. Medium-full body. Solid for the price.

Alcohol burn for sure, but it has good cherry and oak notes. Would be good to use in Manhattan. Not bad for the price.

Toffee, citrus and tropical fruit? A little spice.

great bottle reminds me of the finnish on 1792 small batch kind of a fruity orange taste. my first sour mash whiskey and first willet product. look forward to trying more sour mash whiskeys (looking at you michters)
