The bottle I tasted had the same flavor profile as the Joseph Magnus (which is a finished whiskey) at half the cost, with a bit more caramel/vanilla/oak on the palate. The heat isn't bad at all for the higher proof. The distiller review is right on point at this being the perfect pour for those dark winter days - this one will warm you right up. 2022: Hard to find a bottle where I'm located and now priced anywhere from $55-70. At $55, it's a possible rebuy. If they want more than that I'd have to pass. -
