Old Ezra 7 Year Barrel Strength Bourbon

Sweet cherry and spice smell. Smooth caramel and oak taste

Smells sweet and a little smoky. Tastes rich and sweet like it smells. Coats the tongue evenly with a bit of tingle on the front half. Goes down smooth with very little burn.

Sips above it’s price tag for sure. Very solid pour, bites nicely resolving with a more refined Ezra flavor

I think this bourbon is overrated. Smells like limestone. The mineral notes are strong on the palate with some spice and pepper on the back end. Moderate long finish. I just don’t care for that high minerality. It’s not bad but it is not good either.
