Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Strong, very smokey, not my favorite but drinkable

No idea why this isn't rated better. What else could you want from a bourbon? No gimmicks. Full flavor classic smokey, sweet, a little spicy bourbon flavor. The price seems high but when you consider something like Eagle rare going for around 40 bucks these days, 20 dollars more for a fuller flavor bourbon at a much higher proof,seems to justify the cost.

Tasting neat: Nose is hot with spice and wood and dark fruit. Palate moves from oak to cinnamon to dark fruits Finishes hot with more wood notes and leather.
