Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Really spectacular bourbon. Big and indulgent. So much going on here it isn't fair to lesser whiskeys. Sweet vanilla caramel layered with oak, spice, and a creamy richness. Subtle cherries, orange rind and a hint of chocolate. Wonderful neat, probably best with a few drops of water to open it up. I don't plan to let my bar be without a bottle, despite the $60 pricetag. Succinctly: a flavor rocket.
