look: orangy hue, and not just from the cheesy looking label. stands out from others when in sun, almost like a cough syrup. nose: vanilla, banana, some spice, light cherry, sweat, liggt sandalwood taste: oaky, cherry, cloves, anise, and orange peel. finish: watery popsicle stick, not long. some pepper, forgettable. final: a bit dilute at 40%, bonded version is far better. good value for a high rye lovers, good to keep around to introduce people to bourbon. prefer beam or evan willams BIB for at this pricepoint.
