Full, sweet and ruddy, hence why it’s termed the farmer’s whiskey in Ireland. Personally, I would not consider Paddy a Powers John’s Lane and definitely not a Dair Ghaelach, but a reasonable tipple that is a full but light flavored, widely available in pubs. Still preferred over a standard Jameson (though both distilled in Middleton distillery).
I must admit surprise at the low rating here. Mind you Paddy is not to be confused with Paddy’s, which is bottom of the barrel.
If you happen to discover Paddy in the States, I suggest to obtain it.
